Noel Quigley joins BPE as technology director

BPE has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Noel Quigley as technology director.

Noel, a chartered engineer with vast experience of senior management and project leadership, will be responsible for the technical direction of the company as well as the technical strategy of client projects.

Noel started his career as a process engineer for Procter & Gamble before moving on to work for GlaxoSmithKline, where he worked as a senior process engineer within the pharmaceutical development department. Taking a keen interest in management, he went on to rise through the ranks at Technip, where he held the titles of manager of process and technology and later manager of proposals and estimating.

Mike Brown, managing director at BPE, says Noel’s unique combination of management experience and background as a process engineer will make him a vital resource for clients.

“Our clients rely on the deep knowledge our staff have of the scientific principles behind process engineering and Noel has that in droves. We are delighted to welcome him to the team and know his experience will be of real benefit to those we work with.”

Noel added: “I’m excited to join the team at BPE. The company has a strong reputation within the industry for getting deep beneath the surface of a problem or idea and coming up with the best way to make it work both safely and at optimal capacity.”
