BPE consultant joins impressive lineup at the Hazardex & PPTex 2019 Conference

Keith Plumb, Process, Equipment and Safety Consultant for BPE, has been invited to speak at the Hazardex & PPTex 2019 Conference this month.

Keith will be speaking on the second day of the event where he will be fronting an afternoon discussion titled ‘Using Equipment Protection Levels to Break the Chain’, which discusses the fact that a hazardous area classification plus equipment selection does not always make for a complete risk assessment.

With more than 40 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, fine chemical and allied process industries, Keith’s career in the process industry has seen him join the Pharma Special Interest Group, the Board of Trustees at IChemE and become a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Chester covering food and pharmaceutical engineering.

Noel Quigley, managing director at BPE, said: “We are delighted that Keith has been invited to speak at such an important industry event, which is no doubt due to his key industry expertise as well as his vast experience of multinational manufacturing companies, engineering design companies and consultancies.

“We take pride in the fact that BPE employees are all experts within their field and are sought upon for their extensive knowledge by the wider industry.”

Held on February 27 and 28 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Runcorn, Cheshire, the CPD certified event will see a significant section of the high hazard sector’s main industry organisations, companies and regulators coming together to strengthen and expand relationships with key stakeholders.

The eagerly anticipated conference will host a personal protection technology stream, alongside the main hazardous area operations and process safety conference.

Providing excellent networking opportunities, the event will see a variety of workshops fronted by industry professionals, as well as providing free seminar content, a networking dinner and awards ceremony, which aims to recognise excellence in the hazardous area sector.
