BPE’s client had installed chiller units in their existing facility that were no longer compliant with current regulations and were costly in terms of energy usage.
The key challenge was to prepare robust scope documents for a modern system to enable a vendor to bid for a fully optimised replacement system. Aggressive project constraints were applied in relation to budget and schedule.
The BPE team issued documents, carry out a bid tender analysis of bids received and recommended a vendor. We acted as project manager on behalf of our client to ensure the project was executed successfully including preparing a suitable contract, carrying out a technical review of the final design and monitoring the installation from a quality perspective.
BPE provided design and project management support throughout the design/specification, procurement, installation and commissioning of the new facility which was successfully handed over for beneficial use.
