BPE are a small Hampshire based design consultancy that works predominantly in the pharmaceutical business sector.
We offer design, project management, commissioning and validation services to our clients.
We have both site and office based engineers with clients throughout the UK and Europe.
BPE are currently recruiting for the following positions.
Project Manager (Contract or Staff) - Required Immediately
BPE requires a Senior Project Manager to support new and existing Clients. The successful candidate will have a Chemical Engineering degree and a minimum of 15 years experience in the pharma industry, having worked in process design and/or project management role.
The brief will typically be a suite of projects involving both office and site work.
Qualification requirements are B.Sc., C.Eng"
Bookkeeper - Part Time/ Job Share
Part time Bookkeeper required for approximately 20 hours per week on a job share basis to work alongside our experienced part-time bookkeeper, the successful applicant will be required to cover holidays and absences as necessary.
Previous experience of computerised accounts and payroll is essential, preferably in a small company environment, must be IT literate and CIS experience is preferred.
Reporting to the Directors, with a high level of responsibility including:
-Consultancy Timesheets and Expenses being combined into Invoices which are posted both via email and client website
-Payroll for up to 20 staff
-CIS administration
-VAT
-Monitoring of Bank Accounts
-Invoice payment chasing
-Liaison with our Accountants
-Regular Reporting

Remuneration

Piping Designer - Staff
Piping Designer required to join our engineering design consultancy working in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industry. The position would allow the successful candidate to grow the position with the company and would suit an ambitious individual. Applicants will have some knowledge of batch and pharma processes plus GMP and hygienic design standards. However, the primary criteria are several years experience in a piping design and equipment layout environment. Experience in Autocad 2D essential with 3D an advantage. Work is office based at our head office near Winchester with regular site visits for surveys.
